Wireless
Access Control for Gate and Elevator Applications Now Available in
Kits
ST. CHARLES, IL
(June 17, 2002) – Schlage Wireless Access is pleased to announce the
latest evolution of its breakthrough wireless solutions for gate and
elevator access control. All of the required components are now
prepackaged in convenient kit form.
Wireless Elevator
Control Kits and Gate Control Kits provide access control at a
fraction of the cost of traditional installations, and provide the
major components in one easy-to-install package. The Kits are
comprised of members of the Wireless Access product family,
including a Wireless Reader Interface, Panel Interface Module and
Remote Antenna. As an introductory incentive, Recognition Source is
including a mating 120VAC power supply free.
These Kits
eliminate the need for traveling cable for elevators and trenching
for gates, thus reducing installation time to just a few hours.
Access control for gates and elevators are now significantly less
expensive to install. The Kits also provide access control that is
real-time and compatible with all brands of access control panels.
With a range of up to 2000 feet line of sight for gates, these are
ideal for garages, parking lots, airports, utility companies and
military bases. The elevator controls can do elevator shafts in
buildings up to forty stories.
